Do you need a referral for tests or investigations?

In Spain, many medical centres require a doctor’s referral for laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations.

If you would like laboratory tests or another investigation, I can prepare a medical referral during an online consultation or an in-person appointment in Valencia. We can also discuss which tests are genuinely needed in your situation.

At an in-person appointment, the necessary laboratory tests can also be arranged through the Premium Medical clinic.

Can I obtain a referral for tests or investigations online?

Yes. In most cases, an online consultation is sufficient to request the necessary tests or investigations. After the consultation, I will prepare the referral you need.

Can I have the tests at the clinic where you work?

Yes. You will need to book an in-person appointment at the clinic. After the consultation, if needed, I will request laboratory tests that can be arranged through the clinic.

When booking, choose “Visita presencial”.

Tests are charged separately from the consultation. The clinic is private and does not accept medical insurance.

Can I book if I already have my test or investigation results?

Yes. You can bring results obtained in Spain or another country. I will assess them in the context of your medical history and help determine whether further tests are needed and what to do next.

How can I obtain a Certificado Médico Oficial?

A Certificado Médico Oficial can only be issued during an in-person appointment after a medical examination. The clinic has the official form, so you do not need to buy one in advance.
