Book a consultation Frequently asked questions
Yes. When medically indicated, after the consultation I can issue an electronic prescription with a QR code that is valid at all pharmacies in Spain. You do not need to print it; simply show the QR code on your phone.
Yes. If there is a medical indication after assessment, I can prescribe an antidepressant and issue an electronic prescription during an online consultation. If you already take one, we can also discuss effectiveness, side effects and whether treatment needs adjusting.
Yes. When necessary, I can request laboratory tests and other investigations and then help interpret the results and plan the next steps.
Yes, I see both adults and children. If specialist paediatric care is needed, I will recommend the appropriate professional.
After booking through Doctoralia, you will receive a confirmation email with a “Preparar la visita” button. You can use it to complete a short questionnaire and attach test results, investigations and other medical documents. It is best to do this beforehand so that consultation time is used effectively.
If you cannot complete the questionnaire or attach documents, do not worry; we can do it during the consultation.
The consultation can be in Spanish, English or Russian. Afterwards, you will receive a medical report in Spanish that you can use when seeing doctors or other healthcare professionals in Spain.
Online consultations are private and I do not work directly with insurance companies.
If your policy includes reembolso, I can issue an invoice on request for you to submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement.
After the consultation, you can email me if you need clarification about an instruction or if there is a problem with a prescription or recommended medicine. If new symptoms appear, your condition changes or treatment needs review, please book a follow-up consultation.
An online consultation cannot replace an in-person assessment when a physical examination, vital-sign measurements or medical procedures are required. If it becomes clear that you need in-person care, I will explain where to go and how urgently.
